scrambled eggs with sataraš

Sataraš (š = sch) is a traditional Croatian food made with bell peppers. But this is my version and if you want the original google it [wink]. This recipe is again simple, quick and healthy. It’s perfect for saturday’s breakfast with family.

Zmešana jajca s satarašom (oz. bolj pravilno ocvrta, pečena …)

Sataraš je hrvaška tradicionalana jed, vedar jo tudi v Sloveniji kar dobro poznamo. Tole pa je moja verzija. Zopet preprost, hiter in zdrav recept. Idealen za sobotni zajtrk z družino.

Recipe (for 2) :

2  – 3 eggs

1 cup of different vegetables, all chopped (use as much as you like) :

leek, bell pepper, brussels sprouts and zucchini (feel free to use anything)

salt, pepper, fresh parsley and garlic

1 table spoon olive oil

Heat olive oil in a pan and add vegetables and spices. Saute on high heat until a little brown and then cook on medium heat until a bit soft. Crack the eggs in and stir. If needed add more spices.

Recept (za 2):

2-3 jajca

1 skodelico različne zelenjave, nasekljane (uporabi toliko in tisto, kar želiš):

por, paprika, brstični ohrovt in bučke

sol, poper, svež peteršilj in česen

1 žlica olivnega olja

Segreješ oljčno olje v ponvi in dodamo zelenjavo ter začimbe. Prepražiš na močnem ognju in nato kuhaš na srednje močnem ognju, dokler se nekoliko ne zmehča. Razbij jajca v posodo in mešaj. Če je potrebno dodaj več začimb.

Your truly, A.
