February

This month is a very busy one for me. It all actually starts in January with my younger sister’s birthday, followed by my own, then my aunt’s, my cousin’s wife’s, my cousin’s, my mother’s, my mother’s in law (to be), my sister’s in law (to be), my grandad’s and finally my brother’s in law (at leat this year since he is born on 29th of February). Not to mention I just got a new job, the school started again and I’m still working as a make up artist as much as possible (this is after all what I want to do in my life). This is why today I am posting pictures of what I have been doing for the past week. No recipe this time.

Februar je zame zelo naporen mesec. Vse skupaj se začne že januarja z rojstnim dnem moje mlajše sestre, sledi moj, nato od moje tete, od bratranca žene,  od moje mami, bratranca, od fantove mami in sestre, od mojega deda in na koncu še od sestrinega moža (vsaj letos je tako, saj ima rojstni dan 29. febrauarja). Poleg tega sem dobila novo študentsko delo, začela so se predavanja na faksu in poskušam čimveč delati na področju ličenja (to je konec koncev stvar, ki jo želim početi v življenju). In zato danes v tej objavi le nekaj slik, kaj sem počela zadnji teden. Tokrat brez receptov.

Lavender Cookies

This has been an amazing week! My first submission to FoodGawker was approved and then two to Dessertstalking and one to Photograzing. Views per day jumped so high I’m near to 1500 clicks to my blog (remember two weeks ago it was 500?). And I have become obsessed with the quality of my photos, not just the quality of the recipes. That is way it took me so long to post something. I’m just not pleased with everything I make and I try and try again, until I have something I am proud of. And I finally made it. So here are amazingly tasting Lavender Cookies!

p.s. Do you think I did a good job?

Za mano je neverjetn teden! Moja prva predloga/prijava na FoodGawker je bila sprejeta in nato dve na Dessertstalking inše ena na Photograzing. Dnevni ogledi bloga so poskočili tako visoko, da sem sedaj blizu 1500 klikov na blog (pred štirinajstimi dnevi sem bila šele pri 500!). In postala sem presej obsedena s kavliteto fotografij, ne le kvaliteto receptov, in zato je trajalo tako dolgo do nove objave. Nisem več zadovoljna z vsem kar naredim in se zato trudim in trudim, dokler ne dobim nekaj, na kar sem ponosna. In končno mi je uspelo. Tako, da vam predstavljam Piškotke s sivko!

Valentine’s Day Mousse

Valentine’s Day is coming very soon now. I’m not a big fan of this day, but still I like to do something to show my M. how much I love him. He won’t be getting this dessert, because he reads this blog (at least he says so), I still have to think of something for him. But for those who don’t know how to surprise their loved ones, here is a yummy delicious recipe for Vegan Raw Raspberry Mousse.

Valentinovo so zelo hitro približuje. Čeprav nisem velika oboževalka tega praznika, vseeno rada naredim nekaj, da pokažem M. kako močno ga ljubim. Ne bo dobile te sladice, ker bere blog (vsaj pravi tako), zanj se moram še nekaj domisliti. Ampak za tiste, ki ne veste kako presenetiti svoje ljubljene, poiskusite s temle receptom za vegansko presno malinino kremo.

Birthday cake for my sister

My little sister celebrated her birthday a few days ago (actually now we are the same age for 5 days, but I can still call her that). My present to her was a cake. She is a huge fan of chocolate and since the last cake I baked turned out so delicious, I had to make it again. This time without the mint, because she doesn’t like it. So this cake was made with the same recipe, only the chocolate is normal cooking chocolate. And this time I decided to do some ganache. To read more about it click on read more (captain obvious).

Moja mlajša sestrica je pred nekaj dnevi praznovala rojstni dan (sicer sva trenutno enako stari za 5 dni, ampak jo vseeno lahko tako kličem). Moje darilo zanjo je bila torta. In ker je velika oboževalka čokolade in ker je moj prejšnji podvig s pečenjem torte tako dobro uspel, sem jo morala naresti še enkrat. Tokrat brez mentola, ker ne mara okusa. Uporabila sem enak recept, le čokolada je bila brez mentola, navadna jedilna čokolada. In tokrat sem se odločila še za preliv. O katerem pa izveš več, če klikneš spodaj read more.

Double Chocolate Sour Cream Cake

Today is a National Chocolate Cake Day! So I wish you all some cake eating! I baked this cake two days ago, not knowing that such a great holiday is coming. 🙂 It was simply made because I celebrated 500 clicks on my blog. For which I wanted to thank you, my lovely readers! So I give you Double Chocolate Sour Cream Cake with a twist!

Danes je Dan čokoladne torte! (vsaj tako pravijo) Torej, želim vsem vam vsaj košček! To torto sem pekla pred dvema dnevoma, ne vedoč, da je prihaja velik praznik. 🙂 Bilo je preprosto zato, ker sem praznovala 500 klikov na moj blog.
